Post 8: A subject you enjoyed studying

Well, Organic Chemistry is my favorite subject, in this subject we talk about the different organic molecules that exist, its nomenclature, the way they are found and their properties. It is a very important branch for life because proteins, nucleic acids, hormones and more are organic substances and are part of human development, it also plays a fundamental role in the industrial and economic area since these organic compounds intervene in the manufacture of pesticides, detergents, clothing, among others.

I like organic molecules and the way to draw them, I can not deny that the matter is complex, the tests are complex too, but anyway I enjoy learning organic chemistry. 

In this subject I learn to name very complex molecules, I learned to organize myself and I also learned to regulate my frustration because I got a bad grade even though I studied a lot for the test and that made me sad. 

Before I studying it, I thought they we would be the whole semester in organic nomenclature, and I thought that the subject was only about that, but no, organic chemistry gathers much more content than that. 

Post 6: How can your mayor make the world a better place?

 I think that the pharmaceutical profession is essential for the world, they are experts in medicines, and the medicines save lives. 

Pharmaceutical chemistry can contribute in many aspects, we can develop in many areas, such as, a laboratory, cosmetics, a hospital, community and clinical pharmacy and much more. 

Pharmaceutical chemistry works alongside more professionals of health, together they do a great job saving patients, it is certainly an indispensable profession in the area of health.

In the future I project specifically in a laboratory, making drugs, medicine or cosmetics, are the areas that interest me the most. 

In pandemic, the pharmaceutical profession, will save our lives, literally, they made vaccines that in the future, we will keep us safe, that I think it is amazing! I love chemistry and pharmacy!!

Post 5: A photo and its story

 

     I think that the first thing that I think about when reading about what I have been talking about, it was my cats. My cats are beautiful!! I love this photo because they are sleeping together, I love the relationship they have, They don't fight, they share their food, they clean each other, they are really good friends.

I took this photo one day of online classes, I was at recess and I went to greet them, and I saw them sleeping together, it was precisely what I needed to see on a stressful day. 

For me, this photo means joy. My cats are very important to my life, and seeing them together makes me happy, also, my cats are a great company for me, without a doubt they give me energy to carry on when I want to give up, it may seem stupid to you, but they are also part of my family

Post 4: A meal or food you really like

 

I think that my favorite food is French fries, I really like this!! It is very delicious, I could eat it all day long hahhah, my favorite French fries are of my mom's, she likes them very much.

I also like lasagna, it is very tasty but without white sauce, I don't like white sauce and neither spinach or chard. I like lasagna with cheese, tomato sauce and meat. 

I think that I eat the least is seafood and legumes, I know they are good for health, but I don't like them :(

I like potatoes in all her forms, such as French fries, mashed potatoes, rustic potatoes, boiled potatoes, golden brown potatoes, duchess potatoes, It is very delicious in every way and I never get bored of them!!

My diet is good, people say I eat too little but I'm fine with it. I eat at fixed times, although studying at night I get hungry and I stop being healthy hahaha 

Post 3: My Favorite Piece of Technology

Hello everyone, in this opportunity, I will talk about my favorite piece of technology. 

Before the pandemic, I didn't use a laptop regularly, I used notebooks to study and my only piece of technology was my cellphone, now, I use a laptop every day, it is very important for my personal study because every class is online, and materials to study are in my computer. Laptop is my favorite piece of technology because it is very useful, I can learn, I can study and I can communicate with my friends. I use the computer every day, most of the day I am in online classes or I am studying, so much so, that sometimes my head hurts for spending a long time in front of my computer screen. I don't recommend using a computer for many hours a day, but that it doesn't mean that it isn't use it for many things, especially in pandemic. I recommend using it, but you don't neglect your health.

Post 2: Why did I choose my major?

 Hello everyone, in my second post I will talk about my dreams when I was a child and my career options. I hope you like it.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a journalist, because I could travel the world and I knew many countries, but this was my child dream, when I went to school, I was a good student and I liked mathematics and chemistry, so I thought about studying civil engineering or chemical civil engineering, but I realized that I did not like that, when I was in 4th grade, I knew that I loved chemistry and I wanted to study something related to that. 

When I graduated from high school, I started my college education,  finally, I decided to study Chemistry and Pharmacy, the career is not easy, but I think that I can finish it!! Studying in pandemic is more difficult for me, I can't always concentrate in online class because of the background noise. 

In the future, I would like to work in a laboratory, producing drugs, medicine, cosmetics or something like that.
